Great work by the team that continues to make progress every day.
The game began with a dominance by our JC11 Academy, making very good ball starts and overcoming the first line of pressure but in need of a little clarity in 3/4. Massoccer team adjusted well their line of pressure and, it was hard for us to adapt to their pressing, as the first half went by, the dominance of the match became neutral and in a good offensive transition. Massoccer took the lead at halftime. In the second half, we tried to adjust to their pressing, but we were not successful in the execution, and we pulled more heart, to get the game forward and, in one of them after a rejection of a free kick, Mateo tied the game and put the 1-1. With no dominance from either team, and us increasingly stalking their area, in a play, where we are not able to clear the ball out of our area, they take advantage of it and go ahead 2-1, again. From that point on, we did everything we could to stay in the game and, in the last minute, we had a goal disallowed, as it went just wide of the back line.
The mentality of the JC11 Academy team was ideal, following their line of organized play channeled with the ball and intense pressure after losses. The players competed and never stopped being in the game.
Our base is to form great people who play and develop soccer at the highest possible level and being aware that in this sport the most important thing in this formative stage will never be the result.
