The match began with a neutral domain, many disputes in midfield and fair chances for both teams where, with a serious approach, we reached halftime with 0-0 on the scoreboard. From the second half, both teams started strong, but the fatigue was noticeable and, in a great collective play, the Pato academy took the lead 1-0. Our JC11 academy does not give up and continues to fight. In the last minutes, we have a good offensive transition that we are not able to finish. On the other hand, after recovery, the Pato academy set up a good attack where they finish with the second goal. Finally, two minutes before the end of the game, a good individual play on the wing ends with a strong shot and the third goal.
The mentality of the JC11 Academy team was ideal, following their line of an organized game, channeled with the ball and with an intense pressure after loss. The players never let their arms down and fought until the end against a very good team that achieved its third consecutive victory in this group stage.
Our base is to form great people who play and develop soccer at the highest possible level and being aware that in this sport the most important thing in this formative stage will never be the result.
