May the work and mentality in the field not be tarnished by the result (it’s just a number).
The match started with no time to even sit in the seats. After the opening whistle, there followed a tremendous GOAL straight from midfield into the top corner of the JC11 Academy goal, and Alvaro could do absolutely nothing to stop it.
After that cold water, the Academy began to create a combinative attack, through ball possession and coming out from the back. The suffocating pressure of the rival, and the good positioning, made our academy work hard, which managed to reach the visitor’s goal with clear chances, but without materializing them. The rival’s danger came from set pieces and medium and long-range shots, all of which were well dealt with by Álvaro. The first ended with 0-1 and, leaving a bad taste in the mouth, the Academy, who wanted to see their game reflected in the result.
After the break, the boys of Futedu JC11 came out with confidence and with much clearer ideas, attracting the opponent, with ball transitions in defensive line to jump line. As a result, there was a very good chance that Marc, without getting nervous, beat the visiting goalkeeper, but the Dental Player defender miraculously saved the ball on the line.
After persisting, the reward came in the form of a goal, after a good cross by Marc from a corner. The smartest of the class subtly put it in the net, Javier’s goal!!!!
The JC11 Academy came up and deployed their game, but without reward, and in the last second of the game, in a throw-in, the rival team found a goal, which in the end, would be definitive to take the 3 points.
Our boys have behaved in an exemplary manner, both emotionally and athletically. From Futedu we want to reinforce that the important thing is the evolution of these Champions and that the result does not materialize the great work done and the great mentality they have had on the green, displaying their game, even in a field with reduced dimensions and an opponent with a very high pressure. We want to highly value this attitude of daring, fun and learning that this beautiful sport gives us.
Our base is to form great people who play and develop soccer at the highest possible level and being aware that in this sport the most important thing in this formative stage will NEVER be the result.
From Futedu we will always try to promote educational and formative habits above the competitive outcome of any game, it is our responsibility as trainers and educators to use this sport to help children in their personal and sporting growth, at all times we will give our best version as educators, we are wrong and / or right but we will always try to learn to help children.
